we have a ten year old phillips matchline flattv plasma screen and matching ftr x television receiver. the problem we are having is when first turned on via the remote the `pilot` light on the screen turns green, makes a clicking noise then flashes continually red until turned off. after a while turning it on and off loses the red flashing light to green but then the receiver turns itself onto standby and the screen starts to flash red again. after various attempts at restarting both items and pressing the vga mode button on the remote we can ultimately get it to work but it takes about ten minutes! what do you think? technical problem or new tv required? many thanks.
