i have a panasonic tx p50x50b 50 plasma tv which has developed a problem. sometimes after switching it off for the night at the mains plug I switch it back on in the morning and it is completely dead. no red standby light no clicks no sound just dead. I took the back cover off and did a continuity test on the internal fuse and the fuse in the plug which came back fine. wobbled a few capacitors in case there was a loose solder joint. still nothing. left it unplugged over night again. next day I heard a little click when plugging it in and sure enough the red standby light was on. turned the tv on and it was working perfectly. this lasted about 4 days. plugged the tv in again this morning and dead again tested fuse again no problem. wobbled capacitors still nothing. this time it does not want to know.
